*Here is a 60 year old woman who presented to our office to discuss a breast lift. Her surgeon suggested that she might want some volume added to her breasts once the lift was done to give her breasts a fuller more pleasing appearance. She was interested in having some liposuction done as well so the fat removed from elsewhere could be harvested, rinsed and added to her breasts! She had liposuction performed to her posterior hips, abdomen and her thighs. A circumvertical breast lift was done and then 440 cc of fat was grafted into each breast. By using her fat her breasts achieved a full pleasing appearance rather than the flattened appearance she would have gotten if she had the breast lift alone!
